Meet Your Doctor
Dr. David George Banda completed his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan in 1986. In 1991, he completed the Implant Surgical and Prosthetic Program from The Misch Implant Institute in cooperation with The University of Pittsburgh. As an advocate of life-long education, both for himself and his patients, Dr. Banda has continued his education, receiving various Fellowships, Certificates, and Diplomate awards from such institutes as the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, the American Academy of Osseointegration, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
Dr. Banda is a sought-after speaker who has addressed peers and colleagues on such issues as advanced surgical techniques, implantology, and integrating digital equipment into the dental office. Additionally, he has regularly contributed articles on dental health to the Observer/Eccentric Newspaper.
As a cosmetic dentist, Dr. Banda understands that his practice thrives when he and his team create lasting bonds with patients. To this end, Cranbrook Dental Care prioritizes patient education, and helps patients to accept the ultimate responsibility for their own dental health.

Meet Our Team
Cyndy, BBA & Associates
As our business manager, Cyndy brings over 30 years of experience to our practice and has been with Cranbrook Dental Care since 1996. Cyndy loves her job and is proud to be a part of a dental team who treats patients from all over the world. The tears of joy and hugs of appreciation by happy patients bring her great satisfaction.
Cyndy has a BBA degree from Walsh College, as well as an associate’s degree in management, marketing, and general business. She and her husband have one daughter and four cats, and they love traveling, as well as watching their daughter in her dance performances.
A Wall Street Journal Award winner, Cyndy is a member of the American Association of Dental Office Managers and Delta Mu Delta, an honor society in business administration.
Tammy, RDH, BS
Dental hygienist Tammy enjoys the science behind beautiful dentistry and advanced technology. A member of our team since 2006, she has been practicing hygiene since 1998. She received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where she won various scholastic achievement awards. Tammy keeps her skills honed through studying the continuous advancement of pathogenic science, as well as dental equipment breakthroughs, dental products, services and technology.
In her free time, Tammy enjoys cooking, especially baking, and outdoor activities like gardening, hiking, and biking. Her active social life includes time out with firends, dancing and playing cards and traveling.
Lynette
As our Appointment Coordinator and Patient Liaison, Lynette will likely be the first person you will speak with on the phone and meet in our office. With over 13 years of dental experience, eight of them in our office, Lynette brings compassion and understanding to her position. She enjoys working with our team and particularly enjoys Dr. Banda’s generous, compassionate and humorous spirit, which he extends to his team and our patients.
Lynette is married to Mike for over 30 years and has 3 daughters and 2 grandchildren, her son-in-law, Kevin, is the national spokesperson for Leader Dogs for the Blind. She is passionate about gardening and cooking and enjoys walking on the beach up north. She also enjoys spending time with her lovable Jack Russell Dog, Gizmo.
Like the rest of our team, Lynette takes advantage of various accredited dental seminars so that she can bring an even higher standard of education and care to our patients. She takes pride in being part of such a caring team led by a wonderful, ethical doctor and interacting with our patients on a personal level.
Sara, RDH, AAS
Sara is a friendly, caring dental hygienist. Sara is the newest addition to our dental team. She is a graduate of the Ferris State Dental Hygiene program. She has been in the dental field for the past 5 years, both as an assistant and a hygienist. She is certified in both local anesthesia and nitrous oxide. She is passionate about upholding the highest standards in patient care. She prides herself on her gentle demeanor towards hygiene. Sara was a member of Alpha Xi Delta sorority at Ferris State University. She held the position as historian. Sara enjoys traveling and boating in her spare time. She loves to take road trips with her friends. She enjoys swimming and taking walks. Sara love spending as much time possible with family.
Lisa, CDA
Lisa is a certified DA and has been in the field for over nine years. She is certified in radiology and CPR. Lisa has a fun and friendly demeanor and is very comforting to patients. One of her favorite roles as an assistant is making patients feel comfortable and putting healthy, happy smiles on their faces. Lisa takes great pride in what she does for our patients and is an asset to our team. She can't wait to welcome you and your family. In her free time, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family. They are an active group and enjoy games, sports, and travel. One of Lisa's favorite pastimes is cooking.
Maria
Maria has been with Cranbrook Dental Care since 1999 as a dental assistant. She has helped many patients feel comfortable during dental procedures and has enjoyed seeing multiple patients through the successful completion of their treatment process. She has a vast knowledge regarding the implant placement process and even had her brother under go the process with fabulous results. She has personally undergone major reconstructive surgery of her jaw and mouth, trusting the advice of Dr. Banda, along with the coordination of two of his colleagues. She believes in the life changing power of dentistry. Maria enjoys her young daughter, holistic health care, gardening, reading, arts and crafts, scrapbooking, and jazz music.
Dr. Banda is also certified in A.C.L.S. (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
Our entire team receives on going recertification in B.L.S. (Basic Life Support), involving C.P.R. and other emergency training.
