Crowns, veneers, onlays, inlays, and partials…Where can I learn more about these procedures?

How can improve my smile?
That sounds like an easy question to answer, but it isn't! Your smile is unique, and we won't compromise your individual smile enhancements with a cookie cutter approach. Smile design dentistry done right requires an initial consultation in which we will discuss your goals, preferences, and options for care. Generally speaking, we may suggest porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, all-white restorations, and/or replacement teeth. After your comprehensive evaluation and consultation, we'll present a smile makeover plan for your new smile. We offer digital imaging for smile previews, as well.

How long will my whitening treatment last?
Dr. Banda can educate you on how to make your teeth whitening last longer, but with proper care, you can expect one to three years of dazzling white teeth before a simple touchup would be indicated. Dark beverages, like coffee, tea, sodas, and wine, will shorten the time. Smoking is also hard on your teeth and will cause them to yellow more quickly.

What can you do to straighten my smile?
Porcelain veneers can correct slight misalignments and gaps, as well as discolorations, chips, and other imperfections. From New York to Hollywood, porcelain veneers are one of the most popular cosmetic dentistry procedures available today. Learn more about porcelain veneers in our patient library.

My smile is missing teeth. What do you suggest I do?
You'll need to first schedule a consultation with Dr. Banda. He can assess your oral health and discuss options for replacement teeth. In general, you can choose from crown and bridgework, partial or full dentures, or dental implants. As the most natural prosthetic to natural tooth structure, a dental implant offers the most long-lasting, comfortable, natural-looking choice.

Do you accept referrals?
Yes, and thank you for your confidence. We appreciate your referrals and promise to extend the same comprehensive, caring service to your friends, family, and coworkers that we give you every time you visit.

Will you care for my entire family?
Absolutely. We enjoy creating gorgeous, healthy smiles for patients of any age. If we find that your child – or you, for that matter – would benefit from seeing a specialist, we'll refer to a trusted colleague. Some children deal with dental appointments better at a pedodontist's office, that's what a children's dentist is called. We also refer patients who have extensive dental problems, like advanced periodontitis or problematic root canals, to specialist for optimal care. As a general dentist office, our preventive, restorative, prosthetic, and cosmetic dental services include treatments suitable for patients of all ages.

Does your office work with my insurance?
Every plan is different so we can’t answer that question until we review your coverage. We understand insurance can be confusing and our staff can help you. Simply bring your card or claim into our office, or call to speak with our friendly business assistants.

What payment methods do you accept? Can I finance my dental work?
For your convenience, we accept cash, check, and major credit cards as payment. Third party-financing is available through CareCredit for qualified applicants. Learn more about financial information here.

I really do not like visiting the dentist. Is there anything you can do to help me relax?
Your comfort is a priority for us, so we take several measures to see that you have a positive dental experience. We use gentle local anesthetics, oral conscious sedation, and nitrous oxide for many of our patients. However, we do have a few patients who suffer from dental anxiety, so we offer oral conscious sedation for those who experience this phobia. Oral conscious sedation offers one or more specially selected medications that are administered orally to alleviate anxiety and fear. Patients who prefer this option usually find themselves so relaxed, they’re often able to drift off for a little catnap and wake up with a new smile.
